Kinesiology

Kinesiology offers a gentle and supportive way to understand what may be happening beneath the surface.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or noticing patterns that don’t seem to shift, this work creates space to explore those experiences in a way that feels safe, respectful, and at your own pace.

Rather than focusing on “fixing” anything, kinesiology supports you to build awareness, reconnect with your body, and understand how your system is responding to stress, emotions, and life experiences.

What Is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a mind-body approach that works with the connection between your muscles, nervous system, and subconscious.

Using a technique called muscle monitoring (or muscle testing), we can access information from your body to identify stress, imbalances, and patterns that may be influencing how you feel, think, and respond.

This allows us to explore:

  • underlying stress patterns

  • emotional or subconscious influences

  • how your body has adapted over time

From here, the focus is on supporting your system to return to a more balanced and regulated state.

A gentle, trauma-informed approach

This work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach.

That means we move at a pace that feels safe for you, without pressure to revisit or process anything you’re not ready for.

Your responses - whether that’s anxiety, overwhelm, shutdown, or overthinking - are understood as adaptive, not something that needs to be “fixed.”

Sessions prioritise:

  • safety and nervous system regulation

  • choice and collaboration

  • creating space for awareness before change

What to expect in a session

Each session is guided by what you need on the day.

We begin with a conversation about what’s been coming up for you, and from there use gentle muscle monitoring to identify areas of stress or imbalance within the body.

Sessions may include:

  • exploring patterns, beliefs, or emotional responses

  • nervous system regulation tools

  • acupressure or body-based techniques

  • supporting integration through awareness and reflection

The intention is to work with your system in a way that feels supportive and sustainable, rather than overwhelming.

What kinesiology can support

Kinesiology can support a range of experiences, including:

  • feeling overwhelmed or stressed

  • anxiety or emotional reactivity

  • burnout and fatigue

  • feeling stuck or disconnected

  • difficulty with boundaries or people-pleasing

  • recurring patterns in thoughts, behaviours, or relationships

My approach

My work brings together kinesiology, nervous system awareness, and a trauma-informed lens.

I focus on creating a space that feels calm, supportive, and non-judgemental - where you can explore what’s coming up for you at your own pace.

This is not about quick fixes, but about building awareness, supporting your system, and creating lasting change over time.

Training

I hold a Diploma of Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine from the College of Complementary Medicine. This training underpins my work, alongside ongoing learning in:

  • trauma

  • nervous system regulation

  • emotional wellbeing and holistic health

What you may experience over time

Each person’s experience is different, but over time many clients notice:

  • a greater sense of calm and clarity

  • reduced overwhelm

  • increased awareness of patterns

  • improved emotional regulation

  • a stronger sense of connection to themselves

A gentle starting point

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

This work meets you where you are - supporting you to understand yourself and move forward in a way that feels grounded and sustainable. It’s completely okay to come in without a clear goal. We simply start with what’s present, and allow the session to unfold from there.
